Step 0 — download the build:Download genspend-tracker-latest.zip

    Download the latest build

    Grab the unpacked extension folder as a zip and extract it anywhere on your computer (Desktop is fine).

    Open chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode

    Paste chrome://extensions into the address bar, then flip the Developer mode toggle in the top-right corner.

    Click Load unpacked and pick the folder

    Select the extracted browser-extension/ folder. Chrome will install the extension and show its tile in the list.

    Pin the icon and paste your token

    Pin GenSpend Tracker to the toolbar, open Settings → API tokens in the dashboard, generate a token, and paste it into the extension options page.

Don't forget your connection token

Generate one in Settings, then paste it into the extension's options page. Without a token the extension will capture nothing.
